In 2024, we rebranded from DMK Restaurants to Episcope Hospitality to reflect our ongoing evolution. Our national portfolio of food, beverage, and experiential brands is driven by a culture of diverse thinking, shared wisdom, and love.
Episcope is led by David Morton, whose family has been operating restaurants across the country for generations. In 2009, he started DMK Restaurants with a desire to merge the quality of fine dining with the fun of casual dining. Since then, his thought leadership has inspired partnerships with many of America’s top brands and institutions.

why episcope
The episcope was a revolutionary 18th century technology that, for the first time, enabled opaque images to be projected on a wall. This device drove innumerable future technologies while literally changing the way people saw their environment. Our growth has always been predicated on new ways of seeing, from concepts to business models.
